We are pleased to announce an important leadership transition for the Eastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (EIRPC). Clara Judd will be assuming the position of Executive Director effective December 12, 2024. With a strong background in business, marketing, sales, and customer service, Judd brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the organization.
A proud alumnus of Ball State University, Judd earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing, laying a solid foundation for a career marked by innovation, results, and community engagement. Over the years, she has excelled in diverse roles within sales and customer service, earning a reputation for strategic thinking, team building, and fostering lasting client relationships.
Gertrud Whitaker has stepped down from her role as Executive Director after serving two years during a transitional time with the organization. We are incredibly grateful for Gertrud’s leadership and dedication. She has contributed significantly to the development of EIRPC, culminating with the approval of a $2.8 million grant from the U.S. Dept of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) for infrastructure improvements at Cambridge City’s Industrial Park.
In her new role, Judd is committed to leveraging her experience to create opportunities for growth and future partnerships with the EDA for federal funding that will benefit the region EIRPC serves.
